The South Korean tech giant is set to unveil the Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones, which will feature 5G technology and other features that were previously only available to the brand's flagship models.
Samsung has just sent out invitations for an unpacked event, where the company will unveil new smartphones. The event, titled Galaxy Awesome Unpacked, will likely unveil an update to its Galaxy a line of smartphones, mid-range smartphones. The event is scheduled for March 17 and will be broadcast live on the Samsung website and on Samsung's official YouTube channel.
Samsung is expected to unveil at least two new models - the A52 and A72 - which will be offered at lower prices than its flagship, the Galaxy S21 series, while having some interesting features like 5G support.
The company's presentation of the new phones comes just a month and a half after sales of the Galaxy S21 began, which Samsung says sold last month at a rate 30% higher than the Galaxy S20 in Korea South. At the same time, Samsung is expected to start sales of its Galaxy A42 5G this week in South Korea.
