Additionally some exciting, mobile gaming solutions - including a gaming convertible - Asus ROG also wants to gain a foothold on the market with an external graphics card solution. We have summarized all the important announcements for you here.
ROG Flow X13 and ROG XG Mobile
With the external GPU, gamers can secure a lot of performance despite a mobile solution.
It starts with the ROG Flow X13. This is a gaming convertible that has probably rarely been seen in this form until now. The device, which can also be used as a tablet or in tent mode thanks to its 360-degree flexibility, features an AMD Risen 9 5980HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. An FHD panel with 120Hz and gorilla glass for mobile use are used as the display. The ROG Flow X13 should stay cool and quiet thanks to a clever ventilation system. The 2-in-1 convertible will be available from the middle of the first quarter of 2021 at a price of 1499 Euros.
If you want more performance for the ROG Flow X13, you can rely on a new external GPU solution from ROG. The ROG XG Mobile is supposed to deliver more graphic power in a compact design. It has space for an Nvidia RTX 3080, while the "PCIe 3.0 x8" interface of the XG Mobile provides 63 Gbit / s bandwidth exclusively for graphics. Other features of the ROG XG Mobile:
• USB 3.2 Gen. 2 connection that feeds an I / O hub with four USB Type A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an SD card slot and a Gigabit Ethernet port
• Display Port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0a display outputs
• An integrated 280 W power supply that supplies both the external GPU and the notebook itself with power

If gamers are looking for the best package, you can get an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with 8 cores and 16 threads and an RTX 3080. Customers can choose between a 4K panel with 120Hz refresh rate or an FHD display with 300Hz Refresh rate and 3 ms response time.
